A low percentage of requests versus delivered emails in your email statistics page (as shown in the image to the right) is typically caused by one of the following deliverability issues:
Dropped Email

Deferred or Rate-Limited Email
Comments
Per point #3 in the Deferred or Rate-Limited Email....
I'm sure each case is different, but do you know a suggest rate limit for the various major ISPs (ie. Yahoo might be 1 req per sec, Hotmail might be 2 req per second)? I see hotmail and yahoo are deferring our email when we send out a mass email to our members. If I can avoid these deferrals by modifying my code to match a base/starting rate-limit... I can avoid deferrals.
Any insight is much appreciated.
