Update Post Mortem 13:00 MT Nov 24 - We don’t have final post mortem details but we did want to update some adjustments SendGrid continues to implement to eliminate these type of volume related slowdowns.  We have and will continue to add or adjust our incoming servers, filter servers, relay servers, and proxy servers.  For these functions we have updated both code base and hardware to improve efficiency.  During this busy email season we are actively monitoring the system performance 7x24 and will scale servers as needed to accommodate high volume periods. - Ken

Update 15:15 MT - The slow acceptance of messages has been resolved. We are immediately implementing hardware improvements to prevent this issue in the future. Messages were held in our system for up to an hour due to this slowdown. - Jacob

We're accepting connections slower than normal due to a high load. We're working on correcting this, and will notify once there's an update. This is also affecting Newsletters and Application setting saves. This issue began about 10:45 MT

In the meantime, increasing your connection timeout settings should correct any disconnection issues. - Jacob
