Unfortunately we're the recipients of a DDOS attack. During this time there were periods where SendGrid was accepting mail but we were not posting the uptime status until we knew it was safe for us to do so without further retaliation. We are confident that there was no security breach with any customer data. We realize that anytime SendGrid is down it severely affects our customers. 12:57 MT: For clarification: While our service was down, we were not accepting most mail. Please check your logs regarding refused or timed out attempts. Any mail that we accepted before & after the outage is safe, and was handled as normal.
IPs have been changed for many of our services, and any customers who had whitelisted our explicit IPs will continue to experience problems. Please do not whitelist against IPs, as they will change at times without notice. You can safely whitelist connections to/from smtp.sendgrid.net & sendgrid.com. - Jacob
