Cause
The Email Activity History Add-On, which extends email activity history to 30 days, is typically bundled with Email API plans. This add-on is not available for Marketing Campaigns-only plans, regardless of the plan tier (including Advanced).
Resolution
To access 30 days of email activity history, you must add a paid Email API plan to your account. Here are the steps below for your reference:
- Log in to the SendGrid Console.
- Navigate to your account billing or plan management settings.
- Select and add a paid Email API plan to your current subscription.
- Once the API plan is active, navigate to the Add-ons section.
- Purchase and enable the Email Activity History Add-On.
Alternative Solution
If you do not wish to add an Email API plan, you can use the Event Webhook to capture and store email event data (such as deliveries, opens, clicks, and bounces) in real time.
