How to add SSO teammates to Azure Accounts

Objective

This guide is intended to help troubleshoot any issues with customers trying to add SSO Teammates for Azure accounts:

Product

Twilio SendGrid Reseller Azure.

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Account Administrator or roles (including teammates) with equivalent permissions for updating account information.

Procedure

Direct configuration of SSO Teammate isn't available for Azure Reseller SendGrid accounts. If you have a Twilio SendGrid account using Microsoft Azure, the SSO will not be the same as that used for direct Twilio SendGrid accounts. Basically, the Azure portal admin SSOs are all configured via Azure and not via the SSO option within SendGrid. In this case, any Azure teammates will have to be password teammates, not SSO.

On the other hand, if you are using Twilio SendGrid's Single Sign-On (SSO) features to manage access to your SendGrid account, you will create SSO Teammates. See our SSO documentation and SSO Teammate's API operations for more information about managing SSO Teammates. See our Teammates documentation.
